Cincinnati Reds vs. Colorado Rockies -1.5 (-120)
$6,000 to win $5000
Ironically, it's the largest wager I have placed on anything. Despite not betting MLB baseball this season, I am extremely involved in it. (I play in several very high stake Fantasy Baseball leagues) haha Anyway, here we go.....
I almost wanted to lay the +200 on the Reds last night, because i'm a huge Bailey fan. Even though the Reds came up short, that line was jacked, and the Reds deserved to be more so in the +130 range. TONIGHT, I believe the Rocks should be around -400 (crazy, I know)
Unlike Bailey, Matt Maloney shows no promise to me. IMO, he's never going to come close to living up to the hype he had around him when he was pitching A ball in Lakewood. He's given up at least 2 HR's in his last 4 starts. This kid is stepping right in the path of a team that is in the midst of a playoff run, and I don't think it's going to be pretty.
Marquis has looked less than stellar in his past 2 starts, but is sure about himself going into tonight. I expect nothing less then 7-8 strong with 1-3 ERs. The Rocks should be able to put a 6-9 spot up tonight, even without Tulo in the line up.
I can't begin to really begin to explain how much I like the Rockies RL tonight, and can't wait to watch the game.
*Also, out of the Rockies last 24 wins, 20 of them were decided by 2 runs or more.
No doubt in my mind there is going to be fireworks tonight.
Cincinnati Reds 2
Colorado Rockies 8
GL everyone! :victory:
