Read the whole thing. Unbelievable. I remember games in 80000 seat Cleveland Stadium where there were not many fans, but I don't remember any games with 2000 fans.
not anything new in florida. there was a marlins game last year where the estimated attendance was like 500 people. one of the funniest comments i ever heard was one of the players said he went to flip a foul ball up into the crowd and as he threw it he realized there was no one in that section.....
i mean what do you expect?? ****ty team for years....hasn't had a winning record in 11 years now....they have a bunch of AAA scrubs playing and they are playing the equally abysmal pirates. The Reds rarely draw over 11-15,000 on a good weeknight so that's par for the course.... i mean kids are in school, it's a 12:00PM start on a monday in september with the reds about 200 games out of first place, and it's a make up game so everyone who had tickets previously probably isn't going. who in the world do you expect is going to show up and watch that ****??
