What the hell does Seattle want with either one of these guys?

Typical idiot move by the M's.

First they let Betancourt go at SS, then decide they need JACK WILSON? WTF?

And Ian Snell? That guy hasn't pitched since like May, and really is an average hurler at best when he isn't injured, which he is like half the time.

Maybe they're bringing Richie Sexson back too...or better yet, why not sign me, Boiler Backer and Flyers Fan :beerbang: :beerbang: :beerbang:

I had to raise eyebrows too when I saw Jack Wilson's name. I will admit he's a great defensive shortstop though.

As far as Snell goes, he's been dominating triple A since his return, however that is triple a, not the bigs!

He has a fat sinker, he'll actually do well in Seattle.

The M's need bats though, their hitting is pathetic.

The big news of the day to me is that they got rid of Vladimir Balentien or however you spell it and picked up a tough reliever from Cinci's minor league system. (im a big mariner fan)

They didnt lose anything on the deal with pitt. Clement will end up being a DH if he ever makes the bigs as they tried to get him to catch but it's failing miserably. The other minor leaguers dont have much value and Cedeno can't hit major league pitching.

They improved themselves in the deal but nothing big.
