Broke even on the night games yesterday after an 0-3 start, for whatever that's worth...

Before I get into the plays, normally I would have played KC today due to their success with Hochevar on the mound and the suckiness of Garza against his former division, getting a nice dog price to do so. But the Royals just suck penis. They're pathetic, in a tail spin, and I am not throwing my money away on them today. They are the worst team in all of MLB in game 3 of a series too.
Same goes for the Natinals. Could they possibly lose any more games they should have won? I give up on them. Now you know they are gonna win today :beerbang:
Otherwise, I made alot of plays today, but that's nothing new. I tossed in some totals where the pitching matchups make the unders look like no brainers, but imo the lines are shaded to reflect it, and there are imo better reasons to give the overs a whirl in them.
Red Sox/Jays - First of all Tom Halladay hasn't pitched all that great since being hurt. In addition, the Red Sox are off a loss and should be looking to bounce back strong with that pretty powerful offense of theirs. I fail to see this game ending in a 2-1 type pitchers duel.
Giants/Pirates - Cain is ? after being nailed in the arm by a line drive, and the Giants offense just has to get something done today after what basically amounts to 2 straight shutouts. Yea, they got 1 Friday night but it was cheap and unearned. They will imo break out the bats today, as they are a stronger offensive team than it seems most people realize.
Brewers/Reds - Both of these starters are struggling their last few. Afternoon game at Great American could mean some long balls. With both of the pitchers struggling lately, i figure there's a pretty good chance those might be 2 or 3 run homers, not solo shots.
Now for the plays (finally, lol):
Trying to get my **** back together with:
Boston +102
Explained above. The Jays are all but the worst team in MLB since their hot start, with only KC and the Nats being worse. Ouch.
Florida +103
Love these guys to bounce back vs a lefty, against which they are strong. I think they get to Happ today. Tough to go against the Phils, who are imo the class of the NL again (yes, even more so than the Dodgers), but it's the situation that tells me to do so today.

2 teams going in opposite directions. Whoever is buying in on the Indians to move the line opposite the public, i don't get it. Their pitching staff is horrid and the offense is not hitting. They've probably given up on the season by now. What reason do I have to think they pile the runs on Bedard and beat a scrappy Mariners team who actually believes they can win?
Giants -108
I just think they finally get it going today. A low price to get the better team. Then again, there is the Cain injury factor. I probably should have no-played this one, but some normally strong indicators I like to use point to SF, so I played them.
Tigers +132
Joba is a reliever. The sooner the Yanks realize that, the better off they'll be. Nice line to get Jackson and a Detroit team hungry for a win, and is 17-8 in the 3rd game of a series.
White Sux -140
Guthrie is a fade until proven otherwise, especially when the O's are on the road, where they sport the worst record in the AL.
Oakland -101
Now another big bat goes down in Rivera. They were helped by some blundering fielding yesterday. I just don't believe the Angels can keep it rolling. I still think the A's are getting better. Maybe I'm being stubborn?
Houston +179
Too high of a number here, again. Kuroda has sucked lately, and the ASStros have been playing some of the best ball of anyone. They are strong in game 3 of a series (as are the Dodgers to be fair), and I just think this number is silly. Taking a shot with what I feel is a pretty good team, a pitching match-up that could go either way, and a stupid price.
Padres +125
Awful low number for Marquis, i'd say. Latos a top prospect with good stuff making his debut, so the Rockies probably won't know much of what to expect from him. SD actually has a winning record at home, believe it or not. I think SD has every shot to be in this game and win it, so taking the dog price.
Twins -105
Texas playing terrible right now, and their SP today is a "fill in until they can find a better option", who hasn't pitched well at all. That doesn't sound too promising. Twins rolling and Liriano improving. Twins pen is easily in the top 5 in mlb now after getting their **** together (actual rank #7, but climbing fast), and probably top 3.
Brewers/Reds over 8 -120
Jays/Red Sox over 7.5 -105
Giants/Pirates over 7.5 +100
Reasoning above
Cardinals/Braves 2 team parlay +110
Cardinals one of the best bounce back teams in mlb, D'bags one of the worst off a win. Petit blows, and so does the Arizona pen, while the Cards have one of the best, ranking 8th. I gotta believe St Louis has every chance to win this game today, and only won't if they blow alot of chances scoring or if the Arizona offense goes haywire and puts them away with a big day at the plate, which can always happen no matter who is pitching or what the stats say.
Despite winning yesterday due to a strong start by Santana, missed chances by the Braves, and some late runs making the game look less close than it really was, I don't expect much out of the horrible Mutts offense against Vazquez, who is imo one of the top 5 pitchers in MLB this year. Mutts are +220 and more for good reason....
