YesTURDay was a disaster. KC blowing a big lead, Florida catching up only to blow it in extras after having at least one prime opportunity to score with 2 on/no outs, and Arizona stranding runners out the ass (at least it seemed that way), only scoring 1, and missing that total by 1/2 run.
I think the Dodgers are going to be a big time fade 2H of the season too. Their lines have risen to the point where it's probably near impossible to make anything on them, and if you have followed them closely, you know that ALOT of their wins this year were um, lucky, for lack of a better way to put it. Just that it seemed that just about every close one went in their favor. I know that's not always luck, but sometimes it is. I don't know....I just don't think they're worth playing at these ridiculous prices they're now getting, and will probably fade more towards mediocrity as the season goes on here down the stretch. I'll most likely be looking to go against them more than anything when the situation seems right....

Yea, pathetic.

A's +112
O's +134
Braves -104

The Mets are prime fades, imo, when Santana pitches. They stink, bad, and I don't think anyone who has been watching them play could disagree....yet you can get a great price to go against them because of Santana. The Mets are only 10-8 as a team when he starts this season, and 3-5 since the beginning of June when they started to stink. There's no way this team should not be a sizeable dog every single day, no matter who is pitching.
Add in that the Braves avg 5.48 runs per game vs LHP (as compared to 3.71 vs RHP), and have all the momentum going here against a demoralized Mutts team and I think they area a solid pick today at just -104.
Now of course they'll go on fire and make an ass out of me today with the way I'm going lately....
I like the A's to win again today against an Angels team who will not continue scoring double digits every day and masking the injuries they are dealing with with huge offensive numbers. The A's played decent going into the break, and I believe they will keep doing so as the 2nd half rolls on, we'll see. They just couldn't possibly play worse than (or even as bad as) they did in the 1st half, yet they were mildly competitive. Again, I see alot of value in that one.
