    Sunday 5/31

    reg plays 263-246 (+2.42 units)
    fave rl's 85-122 (+1.45 units)
    overall 348-368 (+3.87 units)
faves who lost by 1 run: 31 of 207 (14.98%)

Wanted to get this one in early. I feel that it will move down, even if the public is all over Greinke...

    White Sux +165

    2 units

Before you pay the high price for Greinke today, handicap the whole game and not just look at him, as you're paying the high juice for the whole KC team, not just for him.

KC is 5-15 in their last 20 games, while averaging just over 2.5 runs per game in their last 10 and batting .218. That stinks. I will admit that Greinke has been defying the odds and cashing these high lines he's been earning, but anyone that thinks he's gonna keep posting a sub 1 era for the whole season doesn't know much about baseball. Maybe today won't be the day, and he'll throw another complete game shutout, who knows, but if there is a time where there's signs of him giving up a few, it might be today. Although i did think that in his last start vs DET too and he only gave up 1.....even though he was forced to pitch out of a couple jams to do it....but the chances were there for DET, unlike some of Greinke's earlier starts where some teams never really even came close to scoring.

The White Sux, on the other hand from KC are rolling, winners of 8 of their last 11, and have to be playing with confidence, unlike the once again lowly Royals, whose season is slowly flushing down the toilet after a promising start.

The White Sux pen has slowly been creeping its way up the rankings since a rough start to the season too, now cracking the top 10 in era at #9, while KC's has been slowly moving downwards, now at #14, after a few days at #1 and steadily being in the top 3 early on.

Danks has solid numbers vs KC for his career too, for what that's worth.

Clearly these are 2 teams headed in opposite directions right now, and Greinke seems the only bright spot for KC today, or any day lately for that matter.

I have to take this huge dog line, since everything I can find suggests the White Sux should be solidly in this game, at the very least.

    Tribe +123
    Jays +114
    Pirates -150
    Nats +124
    Orioles +107
    Tampon Bay -154

    Phils/Nats over 10.5 -125

    2 units each

    Pirates rl +150
    Tampon Bay rl +140

    1/2 unit each

Haven't had time to do the 3pm and later games yet. Hopefully sometime early afternoon I will get to them. Arizona looks like a real strong play at first glace...but the line is high to go along with it, so i guess it just depends if it's worth paying the high price. Same goes for Texas. The A's are a joke....

I like your reasoning behind the Sox pick, but my balls aren't big enough right now to go against Greinke, even if the rest of his team does suck.

After further review, I decided to lay off the Texas game. Couldn't convince myself that there was enough of an advantage to lay the juice, even though the A's blow bad.

Having not watched much Cleveland Indians baseball this year, and now having watched the whole game so far today, I'm not surprised their record is what it is, and I wouldn't be a bit surprised to see Eric Wedge at the front of the unemployment line within the next few days....or hours. What a dumbass he is

            Tell me about it.

Injuries have killed them, but Kerry Wood is a disaster.
