    thursday bases

    Favorites (49-49)(-11.36)
    Underdogs (36-42)(+1.86)
    Runlines (6-7)(-0.30)
    Totals (15-8)(+6.07)
    Parlays (13-16)(+0.24)

    Overall (119-122)(-3.49)

4-4 last night picking up 0.05 units (now I can retire, lol) Better than losing I guess. Last night I played four totals and split them, lost two of three dogs and won my only favorite. Off work today and plenty of day action, so here we go.

Parlay risking 1 unit to win 1.34 units

    Kansas City vs Cleveland
    Tampa Bay vs Oakland

Only way KC loses is if they get shutout today. How can you go against Greinke right now? The guy is amazing. I am on him no matter what the odds until he loses. I have lost with Tampa Bay the past two and I just cannot see a sweep by Oakland at Tampa Bay. I think Tampa’s bats explode today and they get an easy win.

Parlay risking 1 unit to win 1.01 units

    Kansas City vs Cleveland
    Yankees vs Baltimore

Doubling up on KC and taking them twice. Yankees just crushing the ball right now and they are on pace to hit twice as many home runs at home as they did last year. Now the clincher….one of my favorites fades in Adam Eaton is pitching for Baltimore. Yanks score at least 9 runs today.

The rest of these are single bets.

Phillies -110 vs Cincinnati…………..Despite the loss yesterday on which I was on Cincy, Phils still have the best road record in baseball. Even though Joe Blanton is not pitching well, I like him a lot and I get the feeling he is due for a good one.

Pittsburgh +104 vs Washington…………Nats due for a win and Pirates due for a loss, but I just cannot take the Nats. They just find ways to lose games. Snell is much better than his record as well.

San Fran -138 vs San Diego………Just going with Lincecum in this one. Last year he beat the Pads three times with an era of 0.62

White Sox -110 vs Minnesota…………I think these are great odds to get the Sox at home. Minny has shown nothing on the road at 4-14. Even if this loses, I cannot pass up this much value.

I am taking Friday, Saturday and Sunday off. I am working 5:00 am to 4:00 pm Friday and then going golfing right after work and I am also working all weekend, so I think I will just take a little mini-break. With interleague starting as well on Friday, I would just as soon set back and watch a little before putting money on it. I have a history of not doing so well in interleague play either.

Good Luck Everybody!! Back on Monday with some plays.
