Off a good Tuesday, though I made probably the worst bet in baseball ever backing the Yankees vs Halladay. I knew from the first pitch it was over. Line should have been -160 and still would have been a great play on Doc! props to JML for cashing that one. 1st5's continue to be profitable- no secret what I do, just try to find the pitching advantage (or an overvalued one), and lay the half to get it to even or better money. In fewer instances I will still lay chalk on the half, but only when I really like the situation. Oh yeah and I have been insta playing Slowley 1st5, and will be until further notice. I Haven't locked anything in yet but considering a couple.
Hamels 1st5/ Phillies team over/ game over. Not sure what the public feels on this one, as I haven't even looked at that angle this season. I'm curious to see here. Hamels @ home vs the Dodgers getting the lowest line he likely will @ home this season. Philly of a loss where they were outplayed badly sending the acxe to the mound. Are people looking @ Billingsley with value? I tend to think he (though a great pitcher) hasn't faced too many good offenses. SF, SD, Houston- he allowed 3er @ home to Colorado. What's more important to me is how many walks he allows. Could come back to bite him this game. Chad vs Philly stats? 18ip 18h 8er 11 bb. Of course you would have to trust that Cole somehow gets out of his funk to make the 1st5 wager. This has to be the most motivated Cole will be to get the win, no? If Cole does implode, you can be damn sure it's going over the total....
God help me I'm thinking CC:bang:
