MLB RECORD: 35-26
Coming off a 2-1 day yesterday, I feel confident today. Here are my Monday Plays:
PHI PHILLIES +120
ARI DIAMONDBACKS +132
MIN TWINS +121
I like my chances of Liriano finally getting a "W" and turning his season around. He can't be as bad as his stats indicate. & Edwin Jackson isn't exactly a Hall of Famer, to say the least. He is due to get lit up by an angry MIN crew who lost 2 of 3 at home to the Royals.
I took Blanton and the Phillies as well. As Daws stated in his thread, the line on this did look a little fishy. Kyle Lohse has been pretty stellar and Blanton.. not so much. I hope the Phillies offense can keep it close, bc Blanton is bound to give up a few runs to Pujols and Co.
Doug Davis and the Diamondbacks for my last choice. Davis has pitched pretty darn good for having only 2 wins. The reasoning is most def ARZ offense behind him. Hopefully, he can keep LA down and Stults can give up a few on his part. His 5+ ERA says he just may..
