Maine gets out a big mess in that inning, and gives up 1....that could've been a lot worse...1-0 phils...going to the bottom of the 3rd...Mets bats need to get going a little.

Mets left 2 stranded in the 3d and now the Phils have the leadoff runner on once again in the 4th:bang:

now Phils have 2 on and nobody out...Maine just walked his third batter...and has pitched a lot of pitches to be only in the 3rd...already at 64 pitches with nobody out in the 3rd

this is exactly the opposite of what I wanted to happen...needed Hamels to struggle early and wanted the Phills pen out there early
