    Friday MLB plays

    MLB RECORD: 12-2(+12.68 Units)

Well, chalk up another 2 in my WIN column! I don't know how long I can keep this up, but if you'd been taking my picks... you'd be a happy camper. :celebrate:

I checked out the pitching matchups today and nothing really jumped out at me.. but to start it off I took:

    Atlanta Braves +107

Jurrjens is on a roll right now for ATL and though Maholm is Pittsburgh's Ace, I just don't see the Pirates lineup as being very intimidating. I know 1-thing.. Maholm's ERA should take a jump up from 1.32 tonight, & hopefully the Braves do the honor.

For my 2nd pick of the day I added:

    LA Angels +103

Blackburn is lifetime 0-2 versus the Angels in his career, and I am pushing for it to stay that way. For the Angels, Moseley has kept LA in games in both of his starts.. including a matchup against BOS last time out. I know Vlad is injured but the Angels offense is still nothing to frown at. Let's Go Halos! :eeek:

Good to see you on Atl. There bats should breakout on the road after a terrible homestand. The Marlins pitchers styfied a rather hott lineup. I was very dis-appointed in whoever made the decision to sit McCann and Chipper yesterday as I attended the game.

Nice bet on the Angels - I'm a big Twins fan and already am scared about this year. Halos returning with Hunter as the fans will be rooting for him to get some hits just as much as their own team. Blackburn hasn't been impressive this year (never really is, more of a Brad Radke-just-knows-how-to-win type of pitcher), don't see that returning today. GL sir!

Wow the Twins scored 7 runs in the bottom of the 8th to beat the Angels. I am royally pissed. Oh well. I guess I deserved a bad day(0-2) as Maholm stifled the Braves as well. Bad day overall, but I have had 5 (2-0) days... Law of Averages.. I suppose. :bang:

Yeah dude, I was watching the game and Kubel hit the grand slam to hit for the cycle. Sick, crazy, weird comeback - but hey, it's a marathon!
