    So dumb

Bring the marlins here to portland, no one in Florida respects baseball just a bunch of bugar sugar pushers and users, this team has an awesome line up and i guarentee if marlins were here in portland the seats would be filled. everytime i turn on the marlins games i see the camera guy panning around the stadium showing the orange seats everywhere empty with what it looks like the plastic covers still on the seats from when they were delivered to be installed in stadium.. we bid on the nationals aka expos and lost we should get paul allen to throw some dough up for city of roses and get the marlins out west here ill be front row with my dan uggla jersey, and my han-ram bobble head!

dude they just got a brand new stadium deal to build a new yard so they aren't going anywhere

nobody supports sports in South Florida. Miami draws a 1/2 full building for the NBA every night, nobody goes to see the Panters or Marlins. Tampa Bay Lightning draw very well believe it or not.

I would like to see them leave, despite the deal. Tired of seeing my teams get great support and not be successful, while cities with good teams don't do crap to support them.

I know they are not leaving im just saying its stupid how they have such a good team and they dont even show up at the games, but if this team makes it to playoff or deep the fans will come, its dumb, here in portland all our sports even the portland timbers for god sakes get a lot of fans at the games, only time fans didnt show up here in portland was when the blazers where a bunch of thugs, and were known as the Jail blazers acorss the usa...

if ur team continuely sucks year in and year out fine dont spend ur money, but the marlins as i just saw and did not know, for the first time in mlb history had all infielders hit 25+ homers last year....

Agreed - I used to live in Gainesville (Alachua Cty is the poorest in the state), and even with the University of Florida there, people really had better things to do and to spend their money on. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to go see those games, but it's not just about sports and wants anymore, people are just trying to get by.
