CURRENT MLB RECORD: 3-1 +2.04 Units
Okay, I took a pass yesterday.. But I am hoping to keep my hotstreak going, as I went a perfect 2-0 on Wednesday. So Here are my two picks for Friday:
Blue Jays +143
Mariners +133
Now, I don't feel as strongly about these 2 picks as I did Wednesdays but here is why I chose these two clubs. SEAis on the road facing 21 year old Brett Anderson who is making his major league debut. I am hoping he has a little bit of the jitters and the Mariners can pounce on this youngster. Seattle is throwing Rowland-Smith on the mound, who has been a closer last year and a pretty good strikeout guy when he's on. I am shooting for experience to out-weigh potential in this one.:pud:
My other pick has TOR over the struggling Indians. This game has two SP with very little experience squaring off. Scott Lewis of CLE only has 24.0 career IP but has had succes going 4-0. Scott Richmond 27.0 career IP going 1-3, but also has a 20/2 K/BB ratio. I went out on a limb in this one but watching CLE get plowed by TEX steered me in this direction. Lets hope Rios, Wells, Overbay, & Co. can get their bats started against this youngster from Ohio State!:spin:
