    I know Rudy's has hockey. Corner Office by South Coast Plaza if it is still there has hockey. OC other than the Ducks is not a big hockey area honestly in terms of people watching it out at bars/restaurants.

    As for HB, not a huge HB fan. That is kind of the low budget skater group that lives there as far as young people (now if you're older and have lots of coin that's a different story...still not a big HB guy though). Try Costa Mesa, it's cheaper than Newport or HB and it's right next to them. You can still be at the bars/beach in no time and a cab is nothing. Don't EVER drink and drive in those areas BTW....(or at all but that's just me) even if you've just had a couple beers...Costa Mesa, Newport and HB have DUI points usually all the time on weekends and they patrol hard for that stuff.

    If you do move to HB try and find a place in one of the quieter areas....the closer you get to the pier the louder it gets especially on weekends.
