1% H+R+E TOTAL = RAYS @ RED SOX - UNDER 27½ (-115)
question for you. have you had a lot of luck with those in other seasons? only reason i ask is that i had never even seen them until betting at betus recently, and it would seem to me that if that would hit, then the Under would hit most of the time as well. do you prefer those to betting an Under in a game?
Thanks I.B. it's time to get on roll, I hope baseball can prove to be the answer for me.
Flyers... I play H+R+E just as much as I do run totals. Of course the H+R+E are only available online, I play 'em at Bookmaker. Often times there will be starter who lacks control and will walk a guy or two to get a DP ball. Sometimes these lead to a cheap run which hurt much more when the total is under 9.
Like the Boston game... 12 walks between the two teams. A ton of potential runs that don't affect the H+R+E as much. Dice-K is a pitcher who has no problem walking guys, and early on he's prone to the long ball.
Most times the Under will hit as well like it did today, but I've had enough experiences where the total will sail over off a HR with guys who walked on base, and the H+R+E says well under as there are just as many runs as hits. Conversely, in a game when you can count on 10 hits from each team they take a lot of the guess work out of a team's ability to drive in those runs. I've had much more success betting the Unders in these types of bets in the past, but I have made money with overs and unders in each of the past 3 years I've bet them.
