can't wait until they are officially eliminated yet again this year. Freeking Bobby Garner nailing down the 9 spot in the lineup.....

Well, in 2 starts (saFAThia and wang), they've combined for what, 13 ER, 9 walks, and ZERO K's in 8 2/3 innings or so? That will not get the job done. Perhaps they should play that CC team that beat the Pirates in spring training last week ...

after further review, there wasn't enough sarcasm in my post. It's the second game of the season for christ's sake. From a betting perspective, there were plenty of warning signs here. The line plummeted 45 cents & Wang looked terrible in spring training off an injury. I'll be looking into them 1st5 tomorrow, maybe team total over...

They've scored 10 runs in 2 games....their lineup hasn't been the problem, their big name starting pitchers have let them down. It's hard to believe that another quality starter tanks for them for the third day in a row. Could happen, but there's more of a chance it doesn't IMO. If NY gets their 5+ runs again (which is more than likely against some 29 year old rookie, Simple Simon, who's been a journeyman minor-leaguer with plenty of 6+ ERA seasons under his belt), then they should win easily. Either fade Wang or play the over in his starts..... he's not right. Don't see that much of a pitching advantage for the Yanks facing Garza tonight, but I do think AJ won't pitch the Yanks out of the game. I have a feeling the bats step it up tonight... leaning on the Yankees rl-1.5+170
