    JML Wednesday MLB >>>

    MLB YTD: 10-3, +14.64 Units

Lost the afternoon games yesterday, but then rolled off 4 straight for a good night. I have one afternoon game for today...

    Phillies -103 vs Braves
Not buying the signing of Vazquez by the Braves...he was rocked every start late last year, and was not a good road pitcher for CHI...but this is mainly a play on the Phillies avoiding a home-opener sweep after they raised the WS banner...they find a way to win today...with some long balls off Vazquez...

    The rest...

    Cubs -135 (Lilly) vs Astros
Chicago bats haven't exploded yet...they might tonight...

    Yankees -150 (Wang) vs Orioles
Like others, I had a bad feeling about that opening matchup for NY, but expect their depth to bounce back with a win tonight.

    Twins -160 (Slowey) vs Mariners
Seattle's looked good the first to games, but depth will start to show now. Seattle's forced to go with the horrible Carlos Silva, and the Twins trot out the talented Slowey. Add in homefield, and the better bullpen, and I'm on the Twins.

    Dodgers -166 vs Padres
SD showed well through their first two talented starters against a good LA team. Now they get to their third starter, a 32 year old Rookie who was a journeyman in the Mexican league, with underwhelming stats. Ouch.

Rays +136 (Kazmir) vs Red Sox
Two good lefties, I'll go with the better one as a big dog...

How about those World Series Champs! :ohman:

      Adding...

      Jays -128 (Litsch) vs Tigers
Better starter, much better bullpen, bats look alive....and from watching these first two games, Detroit could be in for another long year... -130 doesnt seem like much to lay for a home team with some early confidence, and the better overall squad (especially pitching!). I see Litsch having a good year...he kinda flew under alot of people's radar last year behind the Jays bigger named starters (Doc, AJ, McGowan, Marcum), but now that he was named the #2 guy in Spring...I think he'll flourish. I think most would be surprised to hear that Litsch was 13th in AL ERA last year for starting pitching...ahead of alot of big names.

I thought about this one too. I don't have the option to buy it to 9.5, but I can get over 10.5 at +100. Looks like the sensible play to me, but with 6 plays already I might just stop there.

          GL with it

GL JML, was with ya on Phillies earlier and when I checked score looked like Braves had it WELL in hand. Just got off work and bam, NICE :) GL on the rest of your plays tonight, keep up the good work!

 ....i tailed you on that one and i was like, oh well after i got back from lunch. Just walked back in after a meeting and i had to do a double take......baseball....

honestly, how do you bet on a game in this sport? I mean PHI clearly wasn't the right side unless you are expecting an 8 run bullpen implosion. But i guess those wash out and you hope most games finish the way they should.

Lets hope the PHI pen doesn't implode in the 9th (stiff or boiler on PHI??...:hide:)

tailed you on the NYY. Also i had said yesterday i was debating a 1P BUF play and i ended up making that play. I figure if they are going to come with any energy it's going to be early. Can't see them getting down 2-0 and coming back. GL!

any near-sighted person (me) could be skimming over that real fast, and the listed pitchers comes off sounding like, "Lick Wang Slowly"
