I think the Reds have a bunch of questions still. A) their pitching...harang was crap last year, is that a trend or a 1 year deal.......can the kids pitch well again this season....and B) they lost Dunn and Griffey and added Willy .238 Tavares who stole 60 bases last year all in about 4 games. That to me doesn't add up to better offense. Neutral to me.

I think the Reds are a .500 team at best and probably about a 74 win club at worst. somewhere in the middle IMO is where they finish. 78-84 is my prediction.

        Losing Dunn is a negative?

no but lets put it this way........if you have 20 exams in a semester and you got 20 points for an F on one of them and you take away the 20 points for the F and don't replace it with anything better....how does that help?? now had the reds gone out and replaced Dunn with a bat that would have been another story. I can't stand Dunn, but getting rid of him and replacing him with Willy .237 Tavares is hardly progress.

Taveres had an off year. Get him on base like he did with the Astros and that is a good start. There are lots of decent young bats on the team. Dunn is a 40 hr waste case.

On the pitching side, I think Cueto, Arroyo, Harang and Volquez are a nice set of starters and Owings is decent and has a good bat. (Speaking of Arroyo, this guy is the first athlete I have ever heard of getting Carpal Tunnel Syndrome....what the hell is he doing to get that?) Rhodes is older than dirt but if he can pitch as well as last season, that will be good.
