Carp as a short fave at home looks nice at first glance, but IMO the Mets are the play. Glavine pitched well on the road last year, & most importantly the Mets have the left-handed hitters to face Carp... No interest in trying to guess the total, as both pens are unproven... GL to all this season :celebrate:

Well call me square, but I'm getting Roy @ -104, pretty much an automatic play regardless of who he faces. He's capable of going into the 8th while IMO Bonderman has a better chance of an early exit. Roy vs. a bunch of righties? Count me in. I normally wouldn't lay 2 to 1 on bases, but I told myself I would play it if the Mets cashed.... Santana at home couldn't be priced less. Leans to the Nats, A's & Rangers, but 3 is enough for opening day :hugegrin:

I don't trust Millwood- think he will be lucky to get through 5 innings... I like the Halos to get 6+, & Lackey is likely going to hang a couple.... (Young, Blaylock & Teixeira are all .339 or better vs him). Teixeira is .438 vs. Lackey. I see this as a likely 2-0 or 1-1, as IMO if Texas wins it will be because they put up runs. Didn't want to mess with totals early, but it looks good.....

The Pirates are an automatic lean for tomorrow- after that showing by the Astros pen, are they really justified to be -169? Zito a short home fave, I like that at first glance....
