Boston -110
Sox wanna wrap it up for the wildcard, i'd think....and getting them at -110 off a home loss seems like a great spot to bet them.
Philly/Atlanta over 9 -110
Phils are good vs LHP, Braves are familiar with Hamels, and he has been ok vs them, but not outstanding. Both bullpens are questionable imo, and i don't see any reason this game doesn't have a good chance of following in typical Phillies fashion and being high scoring.
Yankees -120
Mussina with an outside shot at 20 wins with a victory tonight, and then one in his final start of the season this weekend. Not too many pitchers reach that milestone these days, and especially not ones who are like 53. Litsch doesn't do much for me to scare me away from backing this angle.
Twins -140
If there's a Twins pitcher i'm willing to back as a fave these days, it's Scott Baker. He's been the most consistant pitcher on the staff this year, and the White Sox are nothing special on the road what-so-ever.
Arizona -105
St Louis is so-so at best vs LHP, and the unit certainly won't be intimidated by pitching in a must win game.
Pirates +200
Nice price to fade the chokers....errr....i mean Brewers.....especially with the average and unpredictable Dave Bush getting the starting nod, so I'm taking a stab at this big line.
