I am going to add one more:

        SF Giants RL +1.5 -105

        2 units

For the life of me, I cannot see how SD can be favored by this much over even the bad news bears. I don't care if its Jake Peavy pitching.....the Padres suck. They are probably the worst team in baseball. Their offense sucks, their bullpen is a joke, and quite honestly I don't think many of them give a **** anymore about this season.

        Consider these things:

SD's bullpen has an ERA of 4.46, which is good for 28th in the entire mlb. Only Texas and Cleveland are worse. Peavy has NOT gone over 7 innings since mid April. Most starts have been between 5 and 7 innings for him this year. That leaves an approximate 3 innings for their suck ass bullpen to come in and give up runs.

Making that even better is that they don't score much pretty much ever, and their numbers are complete **** vs LHP. .241 for the season, .220 at home for the season, and .211 last 10 games. Those numbers suck....so while Zito is surely having a bad year, it's still no guarantee that the Padres can even open up any type of advantage IF Peavy pitches great.

On top of it all, SF is actually a better road team (25-29) than SD is a home team (24-33), and SF is the better team overall....45-63 for SF vs 42-68 for SD, and to add to that, SF has beaten SD 6 of the last 8 times they have played.

This is about as classic a case of a team being overpriced due to the name of their starting pitcher that you will ever see, imo.
