    monday bases

    Favorites (71-64)(-9.85 units)
    Underdogs (56-67)(+0.29 units)
    Moneyline Parlays (18-23)(+3.45 units)

    For The Season (145-154)(-6.11 units)

3-1 picking up 2.02 units on Saturday. Had to work all day of Sunday, so I just took the day off. Short card on Monday, here is what I got.

Moneyline Parlay risking 1 unit to win 1.44 units

    Tampa Bay over Kansas City
    Boston over Minnesota

Tampa is this years feel good story so far. How can you not root for them over the Sox and Yankees? Kansas City better than they have been in the past on the road, so this won’t be automatic.

Boston has struggled recently, but they still have a great home record and a very good pitcher throwing for them. The twins have been hot, but they are definitely not as good on the road as they are at home. Steep odds, but this parlay should win. It is worth it only laying one unit on such big favs to me.

    One unit single plays

Phillies -133 vs Eaton…………Ordinarily I would never lay 133 with Adam Eaton vs Pedro, but times have changed. Pedro IS NOT the same pitcher he used to be and even though Adam Eaton sucks, he always saves his best for the Mets. A couple of years ago I might have jumped the Mets as a super strong play, then again the line would have probably been a little different.

Florida +104 vs San Diego……….You have to give the Marlins credit for hanging in there. They were expected to be bad and they are battling for the NL East title. Meanwhile the Pads were supposed to have a great season and are in dead last. Like Pedro above, I am going against another former, great but old pitcher in Maddux.

That will do if for Monday. I should see a profit after tonights games. My goal is to get in the plus by allstar break, that gives me one week.

    Good Luck Everybody!!
