    ~~ BIFF'S BASES - JUL. 6th ~~

I decided to take the morning off and sleep in for once, but I'm ready to get some action on the day today. Garland and Litsch are very similar pitchers in that they both rely heavily on their defense. I'm not sure if I'm catching the Angels team on the game where they fall apart, because last night made it their 4th game in a row scoring at least five runs. This is their longest such run since Aug. 27-Sept. 3, 2007, when they scored 5+ in 7 consecutive games. Angels also made four errors yesterday... they are no longer tied for second in the AL in fielding percentage. Plus what's not to like about the Angels pen. For some reason this pick feels riskier than it should... maybe it's Garland. Just struck me as being too cheap for me to lay off. Good Luck.

As the season goes on I look for new prop bets to make to expand my plethora to choose from come late season. Today I'm taking my first team total bet, and it is very bold. I'm taking the Giants to put some runs on the board tonight. Cain can hit, and the Giants lineup is as good as it gets tonight with Bowker and Denker available on the bench. I'm not sold on Stults, he's a mid-grade AAA pitcher. Dodgers two studs Biemel and Broxton have both had trouble already in the previous two games. We'll see... :cross:

    SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS - OVER 3½ (-130)

GIANTS 2 for 14 (.143) with RISP today... :puke:

Opportunities all day long to score, a few with 0 or 1 outs... and to make it bittersweet, the Giants put up their 3rd run in the 9th to make the game total go over which is what I liked originally until I decided to try a team total instead cause I didn't like the Dodgers lineup. At least the Angels romped the Jays, or this would have stung a whole lot more. Can't win'em all I guess, when you go 2 for 14 with RISP (a.k.a. bet on the Giants), I guess you shouldn't expect to...

Not done yet.... I put this one in right after the Giants bet, and I was going to cancel it expecting to see some movement, but I think I'll let it ride now. I like not seeing Man Ram in the lineup. Joba has progressed, just needs to work on keeping his pitch count lower... I think he'll get better at that as he continues to make the transition. I usually never bet on a game that Wakefield pitches, but he's done very well in Yankee Stadium, and with the way they're hitting, I think he should go 7 innings. I don't see a late comeback tonight, so hope this one is an easy game under 5 runs. I'm going to need better luck than I had with the Giants. Good Luck to all those with action.

        RED SOX/YANKEES - H+R+E UNDER 28 (-115)

At least the Yanks got 5 for ya Underdog. Worked for me too, just barely coming in at 26 H+R+E. Woulda been nice to go 2-0, but I'm glad I was able to get 2-1.

Also, my bets are being bumped up to $360 now. Good Night!
