Damn, it was painful when I read this one... Really crappy, but it's up there on the list of unusual injuries IMO.

C Chris Snyder was placed on the 15-day disabled list with a left testicular fracture. Snyder was struck by a foul ball and will require surgery. "We're hopefully looking at the 15-day period where he's back after the All-Star break," manager Bob Melvin said of Snyder.

Nick Piecoro, of The Arizona Republic, reports Arizona Diamondbacks C Chris Snyder (testicle) is scheduled to undergo surgery Wednesday, July 2, and hopes to be back with the team shortly after the All-Star break.
