    Flushing Friday

Was going through a rough stretch, so I took a couple days off..

Very intrigued with TB/PIT... Barthmaier si geting his first start in the majors. Kid was a good prospect with the Astro's, but was terrible and got cut. Started this year in AA with a 4.86 ERA, 4.08 bb/9. Moved up to AAA and did better 2.84 ERA 1.71 bb/9. I just don't see the light hitting Pirates keeping up in this one vs Kazmir. Their record vs power pitchers is bad as well..

    TB -1.5 (5.5 to win 5)

I like this spot for NYY. Giese is one of those pitchers who doesn't walk anyone and won't give up free runs. Pelfry on the other hand will give up the free pass, but has been good about keeping the ball in the park. He's really pitched better the last month or so, but I think he gets shelled in the early game. I usually don't play the Yanks. but here we go...

    NYY GM#1 (4.11 to win 3)
