    ~~ BIFF'S BASES - JUNE 25th ~~

Here's the first one up for me today... Since I've raised my bets to $330 now, I will be rounding off my RISK or TO WIN amount to the nearest $5. If it's in the middle ($2.50) I'll round up. Just done so I don't have to keep track of all the change. Good Luck tonight. Looking at two more possible plays in the later games.

    JUNE 25th

    FLORIDA MARLINS +115

    *RISKING $330 TO WIN $380

    --

    June ML = (11-12) +$120
    June RL = (1-0) +$300
    June O/U = (2-4) -$735
    June H+R+E = (3-2) +$270
    June Parlays = (3-2) +$615

    --

    Starting Bankroll = $30,000

    Current Bankroll = $33,120

    1% Bet Amount = $330

    Bet Change @ $36,300 / $29,700

GL with Florida today Biff. Unfortunately I wasn't able to tail you as it came up to late. Glad to see you're back in the black. New it was just a matter of time.

What two are you looking at for later?

Almost... I get these early games up late because I'm usually not free from work until 3:30, plus I wait for the lineups 95% of the time anyways. I can only pick 2-3 games usually to focus on. Today it was STL @ DET... LAA @ WAS... and this one. After deciding on my play and calling it in, I post... but that usually ends up to be right at gametime. If I play a later game I try and get them in right after I can see the lineups.

Wow .... 6 out of 8 games are 2-0 in the 1st inning! Looks like things could get ugly tonight.

** I will fix my "bet change" amount after the games tonight. I realize I made it $36,300 which is a 10% increase of $3,300. I won't be betting $363 however... It should read $36,00 - $30,000. My next increase will add another $30... not $33. For those interested.

        Sweep Theory

Was mainly focusing on my Braves not getting swept in 3 game series...I was not aware that Fla/Tb have played 1 or 2 games already?

            No problem Biff.

Haven't had time to handicap lately so I only place bets right now when I tail you.

I do in some instances believe in the non-sweep theory but there are certain factors..for one TB/Fla is a 2 game series so you throw out a sweep theory imo...I liked the Braves because of there stout home record and they had dropped the first two..its early in yet in the TB game should be some more runs scored.

More runs indeed Fulton. With De La Cruz coming in the Marlins have thrown in the towel. This guy is a meatball pitch waiting to happen. Crawford crushed Tucker, and the Marlins have done nothing with 3 errors. Almost tonight I'm looking at the PHI @ A's. I was taking a look at the Padres game, but I feel more comfortable with this one. I'll post a play after the lineups come out of if I'm going to make one.

** As I speak... De La Cruz gives up a bomb to Longoria on an 0-2 count. :beer2:

I think pitching isn't the problem. I like Smith over Kendrick right now. Kendrick has been the recipient of some nice run support... Phillies scoring on average 6.5 runs in games he starts. He's also been giving up some big shots lately (6 HRs in 4 June starts). The problem is with the hitting. Neither team is optimal in their hitting right now, which makes is tough. I like the Under, but just can't trust Kendrick... which is making me lean towards the A's.

                    Congrats Fulton.
I'm just going shake this Marlins game off after that 10 run inning. :spin:

Lineups look okay, so I'm going to go ahead and make the play. Smith should keep the big lefties silent all night, and the pens are both good, so I'm taking the benefit of the doubt with the home team. Phillies are in a downward spiral, and while they will snap out of it, I really think the odds are against them tonight. So much so, that I have no objection to laying the small chalk.

Rough start for the day I raise my bets, but coming off an 11-2 run, I knew I had to have a bad day sometime soon. Hopefully today was it, and it is out of my system now. Only thing left to do wait for tomorrow and try again.

I got myself confused earlier today. Not that this is even a big deal, but obviously I'm here recommending my flat-style of betting. So I might as well get it right.
I will raise my bets $30 at a time, but the 10% bet range will be cumulative... meaning the next increase IS at $36,300. The one after that will be $39,600. If I beat that, I've reached my 10K goal for the MLB season, so let's keep'em :cross:

                        June O/U = (2-4) -$735
                        June H+R+E = (3-2) +$270

                        Current Bankroll = $32,395

                        1% Bet Amount = $330
