White Sox, Danks +120 I saddled up with the Cubs last night and they burned me. Marmol, who had been lights out, walks the first 2 men he faces and then hits the nest two.
Eyre comes in and on his second pitch he serves up a grand slam. Game over. I think the Cubs are going into a June swoon. And Zambrano hurt his shoulder and will be out at least one start. If he is seriously hurt, the Cubs are toast. In any event, I think they go down today against their hated rival Sox. The Cubs better hope the wind is blowing a gale in because Lilly has given up 14 long balls so far this year. His pitch is a homer waiting to happen.
Danks is 4-4 with a very good 2.90 ERA and a stellar 1.72 ERA on the road. The Cubs are fortunate the Cards were swept at home bt K.C. or their Central lead would be gone.
