    JML Tuesday >>>

    MLB YTD: 137-136, -39.52 Units

Red Sox +108 (Lester) vs Phils
The AL's best even up the series tonight, IMO...they hit lefties really well, are 10-2 against lefty starters, and after facing a nasty one last night, they get to face another one tonight...his stuff isn't nearly as good as Hamels, and alot of the Sox hitters have good numbers against Moyer (especially Manny!)...Lester's been good...so I'm loving the beantowners as a dog...

    Braves -115 (Hudson) vs Rangers
Atlanta seem to be coming out of their road struggles, winning 3 of 4 away from Turner...Hudson really hitting his stride shutting down 2 stocked teams in the Cubs and Phils his last two...Padilla backing up a bit...

    Indians +108 (Byrd) vs Rockies
Any decent AL team dogged against Reynolds and the horrible Rox is an auto play...

    A's/Dbacks UNDER 7.5 -115 (Listed)
Two of the majors best starters...two of the majors best bullpens...two of the majors worst hitting clubs...

    Marlins/Mariners UNDER 8 +102 (Listed)
Two more of the worst hitting clubs in MLB...and Hernandez has been unconscious lately with no ERs in his three last starts against Boston, Toronto and Detroit....impressive...Olsen's been steady as well and both bullpens overall, have been OK this year in the top half of the league...

I agree PF....he owns the Fish, but the Sox batters have owned him....

The 45-year-old left-hander, who made 23 appearances during a stint with the Red Sox in 1996, is 6-11 with a 6.69 ERA - his highest versus any opponent - in 22 career appearances against Boston, including 20 starts.

In eight starts versus the Red Sox since May 8, 2001, Moyer is 0-6 with a 9.76 ERA and a .320 opponent batting average.

It's no coincidence that 2001 - the beginning of Moyer's worst stretch against Boston - is the same season Manny Ramirez joined the Red Sox. Ramirez is 17-for-50 (.340) lifetime against Moyer with 10 home runs, the slugger's most homers against any pitcher as well as the most off Moyer by a single batter.

The 10 homers are also tied for the most by any active batter against any active pitcher. Luis Gonzalez has 10 career home runs off Greg Maddux, but those have come in 104 at-bats - more than double the times Ramirez has faced Moyer.

      We'll see... :dunno:

Adding a fade of the Jays...

Brewers -118 (Parra) vs Blue Jays
Jays have been owned by the Brewers going back to their AL days...lol...Jays really struggling...absolutely no clutch hitting...and might be without Rolen tonight (added to Hill and Stewart). Jays cannot hit lefthanded pitching this year, and are facing a good home team in the Brewers. The starters splits are also telling...Parra (3-0, 2.90 ERA home...2-2, 7.24 away) and McGowan (1-3, 6.02 ERA away...4-1, 1.73 ERA home). I like the Brewers at Miller park tonight.
