                                                    I was thinking AL champs...I'm strictly an AL guy, and have been reading tons of AL previews that had Detroit as the champs. Tigers over Mets in the actual final.

                                                            That's exactly why they won't repeat as AL champs IMO. When are these guys ever right? Everyone (media and fans alike) had the White Sox mowing thru the AL again last year, only to not even make the playoffs....

                                                            Everyone will be gunning for the Tigers this year, and the pressure to repeat is much more difficult to deal with than being the up and coming team.

                                                            Just don't see em getting it done again.
