    ~~ BIFF'S BASES - JUN. 7th ~~

MLB Saturday night... here's what I'm getting started with. I'll definitely be playing one more late tonight, I've got my eyes on two teams... just trying to figure out the bet I want to make.

Scott Olsen is a loose cannon that got off to a good start this year, but his last 3 starts have been horrible. Part of the reason he did so bad last year is because when things get bad for him he gets VERY emotional. Marlins have been a leader in K's (batting) all year. Arroyo can give up bombs, but he can also strike 'em out. Looking for more of the latter tonight, really liking the plus odds.

Kendrick and Reyes are two young pitchers that still put a lot of men on base. Neither is a strikeout pitcher, and both the Braves and Phils draw their fair share of walks. Werth is back and could have a nice night for the Phils. Neither of these bullpens have seen many days off, and they definitely won't tonight. Warm night in Atlanta, I think the bats are ready.

Anyone else watching the Marlins game? Despite it not going my way I had to turn it off thanks to cowbell night. Horrible idea. Reds have mastered comebacks against the Fish, hope they've got another one in store tonight.

I know I doubted my pick on the A's last night, but not the case tonight. I'm putting them back on my card with Garland on the mound, as the A's lineup is hitting over .300 against him already pounding him once this year. Smith should be able to slow down the Angels with that pick off move, and I wouldn't be surprised to see him snipe a couple off 1st. I just can't see Garland out-pitching this young lefty, and I trust the A's bullpen as much as I would any pen in the league. This series is usually a back and forth struggle, so it's the A's turn tonight.

We're not done yet tampa... hope they can hang on... Weathers then Cordero. Need this one with the Braves not getting it done tonight at home... rare occurrence especially against a guy like Kendrick. Really confused on how the A's aren't sitting on Garlands crap? The #1 team in walks you think they could pick it up. Hope they wake up and start playing some baseball!

Almost... tampa... hope you had some better luck tonight than I did. :yell:

Things have really gone sour on me these past few weeks, it's something that I just can't shake right now. I usually hit a patch like this at some point in the year. Everyone does. But now that I'm on the verge of being back to even on the season, I'm going to be back to just 1 play until things pick up. If it wins I may try and get back on track one game at a time, but if it loses I'll be taking at least a few days off. I may take some time off anyways. It's no fun if you aren't winning, and I'm just not winning right now. I just need to relax and come back refreshed. Baseball is a season long marathon, we all know that, but I can't afford to invest my time if I'm getting negative results. This might be perfect timing as I more than likely will have a shipment of work being dropped off on Tuesday. Back tomorrow with my play.
