I must be crazy betting against a red hot team with their ace on the mound vs. a pitcher who has seen his team lose his last 10 starts and is only a medium sized dog... right? Someone is keeping this game cheap for Brew Crew backers, and my $300 isn't doing it.

Bottom line is that Jimenez has some of the best stuff in the Rockies organization (not meant to be a bold statement). His two-seamer has some of the best movement I've seen. This is movement that the Brewers have yet to see. Sheets has been dealing, but now heads to Coors where his numbers that are way above his averages, even road averages. The Rockies in tonight's lineup that have seen his stuff have fared quite well including leadoff man Tavarez and clean-up Helton. Hurdle has seen enough of Corpas blowing games that I think he's now regulated to a non-save situation pitcher. Brewers dropped the last 4 games they've played in Coors, and I think could very well pick up right where they left off.

    COLORADO ROCKIES +140

Hope the Rocks start unloading Almost! :th:

Last play tonight. The matchup of Lackey v. Blanton has gone Lackey's way the past 4 meetings. So why only -120 to make if 5 in a row? I think it is because this A's lineup is much more potent than what meets the eye... we'll see tonight.

            Rockies cash Almost.

Well good thing I didn't have to eat the chalk on that Jays melt down. The Tigers made it an early death to my parlay. A 2 run bomb on the road is one thing, but giving up 6 in the 8th after shutting a team out at home is another. Rockies put up a good fight and finally got the bats going which was the only highlight of tonight as the A's hit the ball pretty well, just right at the Angels. Might have been somewhat of a bad bet on my part as I bet against the Brewers being 0-4 in their last 4 games at Coors (now 0-5) and I bet FOR the A's who were 0-4 in their last 4 w/ Lackey v. Blanton (also now 0-5). I wish I would have had some more time tonight, probably would have laid off the A's if I thought about it some more, but tough to be perfect in this business. I'm in need of a nice weekend. I like the match-ups I have circled, so hopefully that's a good thing.
