    Daddy's MLB Monday (3.26)

Here's what I'm liking on Monday...

    BOSTON (+100) = *2 Units
    - Livingston wasn't expected to make it out of spring training, but he'll get a bullpen spot. He'll toss 2-3 innings, but in Dice-K's last spring start, I expect him to go 5 innings and make sure he's got all his gyrokinks worked out.

    OAKLAND (-130) = *1.5 Units
    - We all know Gaudin isn't goin to pitch a huge inning, and the A's bullpen isn't anything to be ashamed of. Hirsh however has been getting smacked left and right this spring with a 7/5 - BB/K ratio.

    SAN DIEGO (-135) = *1.5 Units
    - Hensley will continue to be on fire today against the Royals and Duckworth who has proposed anything but a challenge in the past. He's been good this spring 0/11 - BB/K ratio, but I can't seem him leaving spring perfect. This is his first start this spring and should get knocked around I think.

    TAMPA BAY (+145) = *1 Unit
    - Tampa has been winning, (5-0-1) in L6. Sowers has been iffy this spring, and Shields has been going deep into games. Can't see a reason not to take the value here.

    ATLANTA (+120) = *1 Unit
    - Cormier might pick up the 5th spot in the rotation, but Woody shouldn't (I think he's gettin No. 3 somehow)! Cormier has posted 3 wins this spring, and been very effective getting ground ball outs. Braves have been pretty dominant past few games to boot.

    BALTIMORE (+110) = *1 Unit
    - Loewen said his stuff is the best it's ever been. How Ponson got into the Twins rotation is a mystery. Plus the Twins have just been gettin rocked past few games. Another value pick.

    St. LOUIS (-105) = *1 Unit
    - Wainwright is another good groundball pitcher against Mitre who's only seen limited work due to shoulder pain has never impressed me. Much like the Duckworth fade.

For what it's worth, there's my 2 cents. BOLT on all your plays!

Also, here are games I couldn't pull the trigger on. Mostly because they didn't offer enough value for my buck. I passed on a couple, the rest are the sides I was leaning towards.

Toronto/Pittsburgh - Pass. Both losers in my book.
    Tigers (-160) - JUICED.
    Yankees (-170) - JUICED x 2.
Brewers (+110) - Like Vargas in this one. Solid K's this spring.
Giants (-125) - Like Cain, he's ready for a solid performance. Learning from the best.
Mets (-125) - Glavine is dominant, but can't trust opening day vets in thier last spring start.
Cubbies (+110) - Love the Cubs over +100. Don't think they should be today, somethings up I think.
Seattle/Texas - Pass. Doesn't get any more up in the air I feel.

As soon as Dice-K gets done with his 5 innings of hitless ball, Hansen comes in and gives up a 5 run 7th inning. Final score 5-0. :yell:

Other than that, solid start today...

      Morning games... (3-2)

Oakland is smackin Hirsh up early on. :beerbang:

End up (4-3) -0.09 Units. Sweeeet.

If you're checkin my plays, only touch my 1 unit plays. I think I've lost my last five 2-Unit plays. Piece of crap. :bang:

        2 "Upsides" thou...

Likin the fact that every single one of my leans hit today => (6-0)

Likin the fact that the two games I "passed" on:
        1) Tied
        2) 3 lead changes (1 tie)

Too bad neither of those helped my bankroll. I'll be back.
