    JML Thursday MLB >>>

    MLB YTD: 112-114, -42.93 Units

    Two early games...

    Braves +101 (Campillo) vs Brewers
Like Atlanta to avoid the sweep...the powerful Braves bats have been held down the first two games of the series, and I think they get a few off McClung this afternoon...this is only his second start of the year, with his first being against the Nats....he was a horrible starter with TB, and will be in tough against the Braves who seem to be due...

    Nationals +111 (Lannan) vs Padres
I know the Nats are a bit banged up, but I'm not sure how the Pads can be favoured against anyone with Ledezma on the hill. He is a reliever in over his head forced into the starting role b/c of injuries. He's been rocked since becoming a starter, and is barely lasting 3/4 innings per start...not a good thing with a Padres bullpen ranked 26th in MLB. Lannan a good lefty, and the Pads are hitting a major-league worst .211 against lefties...by far the worst in baseball...

    Two night games...

    Mets -116 vs Dodgers
Penny fade...the guy is really struggling ever since getting bombed by these same Mets four starts ago (giving up 10 ERs over 4 innings). Mets seem to have his number as he has a career 7.32 ERA at Shea. Penny then gave up 14 ERs over his next three starts, and now returns to the scene of the crime at Shea. I think it's in his head, and in the Mets hitters heads as well.

    Rockies/Cubs OVER 9 +100

Francis has been horrible so far year, really taking a step back in his development, and the Cubbies hit lefties great...Marquis is always good for a few runs himself...I see the ball flying out of Wrigley today.

        Good night...updating... MLB YTD: 115-115, -39.19 Units

Blue Jays the best team in MLB right now? :dunno:
MLB's best pitching (after smoking Oakland and taking over first), and bats coming around nicely the past 2 weeks...

Cashed in on the Mets with ya. Nice night.

Not so sure about the Jays being #1. They caught the A's in a bad spot after sweeping the Red Sox. If they get Wells back, that AL East is going to be TOUGH.

All I heard was the Jays were going to be in a bad spot...facing the hot A's coming off that sweep...having to play on the west coast against the pitching of Oakland.....but it was the Jays pitching that held up and took 2 of 3. I don't think I've seen this kind of pitching for Toronto since the world series teams...I mean #5 Jesse Litsch is even an allstar candidate....and now the bats are hot too! :beerbang: And by #1 I meant right now....they've won like 14 of 17 and seem to give up only 1 or 2 runs every game...

Nice call on the Mets......Penny
