    Cubs -178 (Zambrano) vs Padres
SD has won two straight...but that was at home against the equally bad Rockies...the top 3 of SD's rotation played in the Colorado series...time to fade the bottom half of their rotation...especially on the road against Zambrano. Cubs a great home team, Pads blow on the road. Wolf has been hit hard the past 3 weeks, and Chicago hits lefties well. Zambrano's as good as anyone in the NL. I'll lay the juice...

    Astros/Giants OVER 7.5 -113 (Action)
A 7.5 with Zito pitching? huh? He had one OK start against the Pirates, but will still give up runs with his weak stuff...especially tonight against a hot-hitting Astros team who kill lefties (.300) this year. Houston has been one of the hottest hitting clubs in the NL...winning 9 of their last 11, mainly by scoring over 6 runs per game during that stretch...and are coming off a sweep of LAD where they smoked the Dodger pitching.

The low number is probably a result of Oswalt's name but he has been giving up runs all year...and even in his recent "turnaround" people talk about, he still has given 3 ERs in each of his last 4 starts...and we know that he is also traditionally weaker on the road over his career as well. SF's bats have been OK recently...so if you give SF 3 runs off Oswalt, that means we only need 5 more runs off Zito and both bullpens for the Over to hit?

This number is off by 1.5 runs, IMO...

Seems way low for Zito, and you got two weak bullpens to boot. I think this one shouldn't have much trouble. Good Luck today Johnny.

Two winning nights in a row as both games tonight go exactly as expected...needed that...I think keeping it to under 3 plays per night might be the smart way to go from here on in...

        And Marcum outduels Lee :beer2:

            Pitch/strike ratio. lol. Nice!

Well...I guess by outduel, I meant Jays got the win in the game, and Marcum had the (slightly) better line...

            Marcum 8 IP - 2 H - 5 SO - 0 BB
            Lee 9 IP - 7 H - 5 SO - 2 BB

7 less baserunners for Marcum. And if the Tribe RF doesn't make an amazing diving catch on a liner in the ninth, Lee loses 2-0 in regulation...

All in all....4 great pitching performances in the DH though....where were the under plays? lol.
