    ~~ BIFF'S BASES - MAY 10th ~~

I've got my eyes of four little underdogs today. First off, I'm taking a gamble on Mad Max snapping into form, cause he's been in mid-season form since mid-march. Diamondbacks were shut down yesterday, and in the past have been poor road teams during the day. However, that trend has been somewhat bucked this year, so in some weird way that works out to a likely bounce back day coming off a day game. Dempster hasn't had many hitches moving into the rotation and is 4-0 starting at Wrigley so far this year. Hopefully the Baby Backs can dirty up that record. Looking at the Phillies right now... Good Luck.

Glad I laid off the Phils...

For Arizona, alls I can say is WOW. DBACKS PEN IS BLOWING THIS GAME OUT THE WINDOW. :bang:
Setting a new high for most runs in 1 inning allowed. Really glad I was on board for that.

Well, eating the first loss of the day. Here's two more I'm playing. I like the Mariners later on tonight, but still need to figure some things out. It would be vary rare if I make a 4th play today. Mench is in the 4 hole today, he must be hitting bombs in BP. I like McGowan over Laffey still, and same can be said for the pens. I just have to pray the Jays can rebound from the loss of Wells.

I gotta think Kazmir is only going to get better and should get closer to 100 pitches today. Angels did nothing with the bats yesterday, so he's got an opportunity to kick them while down, and it's a cheap enough price for me to hop on board. Angels are 7-0 in Saunders' starts this year, and he slipped up big time giving up 12 hits his last time out. If he's putting the ball over the plate again today I think the Rays will make him pay big time. Hoping these two turn my chi around. Good Luck.

Cavorca... I like it a lot, it's going to be hard to lay off. Looks to be a good spot for the M's to put up a solid night.

Wow. I'm glad Cleveland got that out in the first inning. Only way Jays have a chance now is if Cleveland gets on some sort of cruise control. They got the whole game ahead of them. It's happened before.

I don't know, man...that's the worst 1-day lineup I've seen in 20 years of watching the Jays...lol....too bad I went for the under instead of the Tribe...it was a tossup for me, and it looks like I picked the wrong one...

Yeah Johnny, I'd say the Jays are a little out of reach now.

12-0 this is laughable now. Marlins up 10-0 in Washington. I traded one loser for another today.

Losing however isn't. I now have to decide if Seattle is in my best interest.

Despite feeling I shouldn't make a 4th play, I'm going to roll with the Mariners tonight. I can see how I somewhat forced the Jays action earlier, but I shouldn't let that throw off my thinking now. I put this bet in earlier, and I'm going to leave it on the table. If there is any offense colder than Seattle it's Chicago. Dye has been hot, but seems much better to take the home team working to snap out losing 9 of their past 10. I'm up against the White Sox barely breaking their slump last night, I wasn't convinced they've changed their momentum. I'm glad to see Sexson isn't playing for the Mariners actually. Cairo isn't really an upgrade, but we'll see what he can do. No Thome could take a shot at their momentum as well I think. Tread lightly here, seems like I haven't been myself these past few days. Also, the other three dogs I've liked today have come up short.

The third 6-run inning I've had to witness today. I'm off the the bar. Things got way out of control today. I need to clear my head before I even start to think about tomorrow. :beer2:

I've thought about it and obviously can see I'm not being selective enough right now. I need to cool my jets and get back to trying to make 2 solid plays each day. That's what I'll be looking for tomorrow.
