Wed 5/7:
Seattle RL +120 ... 0.75 Unit
Although I like Padilla more than most, I'm not sure Tex will be able to put up a ton vs Bedard. Hamilton has been so huge for Tex, but although he's done ok vs lefties this year, he was horrible against them last year. Young is 2 for 20 career vs Bedard. Kinsler hit lefties ok last year, but he hasn't hit lefties well this year or done much away either. I looked through the splits for all of Tex's hitters and saw things that I didn't like about the majority of their lineup. As for Sea, Ichiro has absolutely lit Padilla, Ibanez has also hit him fairly well, and I didn't see much on the rest that alarmed me. Even though Sea doesn't have much offense, IMO Ichiro and Ibanez doing well goes a huge way for the lineup as a whole. Sea has disappointed me this year, but this could be the spot they get things going. At home closing the 4 game series with their big 2 going the next 2 games vs lesser pitchers and a so-so team (Bedard against Padilla tomorrow with Felix against Gabbard), and possibly winning the series 3-1 before another series at home vs Chi WS.
