    JML Friday >>>

    MLB YTD: 73-75, -29.94 Units

    Mariners/Yankees UNDER 9 -155 (Bedard/Wang) - 3 Units
Two of the top starters in the AL...this number should really be 7.5 instead of 8.5 IMO...but these two are perceived as being strong offensive teams, when really they are middle of the pack and are both "under" teams. The Yankees are in fact a huge "Under" team (8-20-1) because they are perceived to be the "bombers" which seems to always get them high totals. But the facts are... they don't hit worth a **** this year, hit lefties even worse, and are without their biggest threat in ARod. Bought a half run to the key number, but it shouldn't be needed.

Marlins -118 (Hendrickson) vs Padres - 3 Units
This one is good value IMO ...Hendrickson seems to have his **** together this year, and the Padres usually don't do **** against lefties (2nd worst BA in the majors). They have no bats this year, and have been relying on strong starting pitching...they don't get that here with the weak Germano on the hill...a bum who's been rocked his last 2 starts. Love the home team on a low number.

Reds +132 (Volquez) vs Braves - 2 Units
The only reason Atlanta can be this much of a fave here is the Hudson "name". They have been **** recently, losing 5 straight, and Hudson hasn't exactly been great his last 3 starts. Two of them he gave up 4 ERs and only lasted 3 innings in each, and the other start, he only gave up 2 runs, but it was mostly an escape job as he was still hit around pretty good by the Nats for 10 hits. He's given up 23 hits over only 12.2 innings in his last 3 starts. On the other side, this Volquez kid has been awesome all year giving up 1 ER or less in each of his 5 starts this year. Great value here, IMO.

    #2
    Two more...

    White Sox/Blue Jays UNDER 9 -145 (Buehrle/Marcum)
The two worst hitting clubs in the AL, but also two of the best pitching clubs in the AL matchup here. Jays starting pitching has been insane, and Marcum should continue that with a quality start against light-hitting Chicago. Buehrle has been up and down this year, but always seems to pitch well against Toronto...and the Jays bats have never been worse (.211 with RISP, worst in mlb)...especially against lefties (.201, worst in mlb).

    Tigers -124 (Galarraga) vs Twins
This one seems low....Detroit playing some good ball, especially offensively...I don't see how they don't light up Livan in a serious way tonight in the homer-dome. Galarraga a nice find for the Tigers, but the play is really a fade of Livan facing the hot Tiger bats.
