    Is it me?

I just don't understand all the action on the royals tonight. You are basically saying that they are a +129 to sweep the yanks. Yes the yanks are banged up but I just don't see it. Personally I am not going to touch that game with a 10ft pole.

Agreed. Seems ridiculous, but Pettitte hasn't show anything so far this year. These are the games that it makes more sense to just back away.

100 agree% to be honest it could go either way with the way the injuries and the royals are playing. but fI was one of those guys that set the line I would make kc +140 ( which was the opener) and hold.

I also think the cubs line should be more in the -145 range. which a part of me thinks it may close right around there.

kc is pumped after the sweep against the tigers to open the season. It appears to me that the books are inviting yank betters. Not sure if I am bettin the game, but if I do I will go with the hot team right now, kcr.. :beer2:

Here's my cent and a half...

Are the Yanks even the better team than KC? Certainly not from this year's results so far.

The Yanks have about the weakest offense in the AL so far.

Besides Wang (who obviously won't pitch tonight) and Joba, their pitching is average, to over the hill, to just completely ****ty.

Take away the names on the front and back of the uniforms and the home team is the -140 to -150 fave here, not the road one.

In all reality, the game is probably pretty much a toss up.

The only conclusion I can draw from the situation is that a play on the Yanks at -150ish is insane tonight.

It's gotta be KC or nothing....unless someone can give me a single solid reason to bet the Yanks, other than that "The Yanks will look to avoid the sweep". That's weak, IMHO.
