    ~~ BIFF'S BASES - APR. 6th ~~

Running out the door. Quickly here's my day game pick. May have another one later, we'll see how this goes first. Just like the Marlins in this spot w/ a weak Pirates lineup today. Snell has never impressed me and the Pirates have shaky pen. Check out my article in the "Bullpen Systems" sticky if you're interested. Good Luck. :th:

Ok, I'll accept the loss in Florida, Snell just shut down the Marlins. Kind of a rushed play that I made based on the "weak" lineup the Pirates had. Man was I wrong there, but I'd still take a ML bet with plus odds with that lineup on the road any day. But that A's game was something else. Blanton goes into the 7th inning with a shutout, and immediately walks to put the tying run on base. Then, with the bases loaded and 1 out, there's a botched double play that allows the tying run to score. Blanton then walks the bases loaded and then walks in the go ahead run. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot. The A's clearly don't have to offense on any given day to give away 2 runs. Chalking this up as a horrid Sunday, both on a off the bases and now it's time to move on. Back tomorrow.
