    ~~ BIFF'S BASES - APR. 5th ~~

Hoping to get on some sort of streak here. This might be my only pick today as I'm going out to the ballpark today to see Sabathia v Eveland. For my pick, Harang is getting no respect here against a turd like Eaton. Harang's has only faced the Phillies once in the past two seasons, so I don't think his prior struggles have too much influence on this game. That and the Phillies have no bullpen to scare me off. Reds are going to have to put up a few runs, but I don't think that'll be a problem. I also liked the Astros, but seeing as I went on the Cubs yesterday, I'm laying off. That and the line is now at -105 which seems fishy. In my opinion, this is the best #1 v. #5 matchup and price on the board. Wainwright (not a true #1, making 1st official start of season) and Sabathia (CLE struggles at Coliseum) are not worth the -160 or -165 to me. Good Luck.

GL Biff, on it as well. Cincy seems to have some value a lot of days so far IMO, hope Harang comes through!

Nice work on cashing the Reds again Cavorca! :th:
Wasn't easy, so far this year I've been good at betting on teams who just go quiet at the the plate... until the 9th inning.

          Thanks Moe! :th:
Tough late run by the Cubs. I was pulling for the Stros. Get'em tomorrow bud!

Let's hope I get on a roll. I'm always a little nervous in the beginning of the season, for any sport. Which is natural I think. I've always said if you walk into a casino and are not at least a little nervous, you either have no idea what you are doing, or have no respect for money. Early season is tough to predict, especially in baseball, there are a lot of surprises already and some teams have only played 6 games. I watched Dana Eveland shut down the Indians today, and CC give up 3 runs in a horrible first inning. Even though he settled down, everybody was making good contact off him. He'll definitely be on my list of over valued pitchers this year, or at least for the time being. Back tomorrow.

The Stros left Oswalt in the game to long. He obviously was losing it. Oh well, on to today.
