    Saturday 4/5 baseball

Houston Oswalt -108 The Cubs are off to their usual start, 1-3. As a team, they are hitting an anemic .220. Their leadoff man Soriano, and I use that term loosely, is hitting a robust .057 and their number 2 man, Theriot, is checking in at a healthy .222. That is not going to win you many ball games. Other then Fukudome, nobody on this team is hitting. And I just do not see Oswalt starting out the season 0-2.

    Good luck all.

I like that play on the Stros and I also like the Reds today. I think those are my two. Both ace #1 starters going against poor #5 starters. Have any thoughts on the Reds?

The other two #1 vs. #5 matchups are

    Sabathia @ Eveland -OAK
    Wainwright v. Chico -WAS

With both those lines over -150... I think Harang and Oswalt are solid value.

Cinci scares me a little, Biff. Reds only hitting .211 in the early going and believe it or not, Eaton has fared very well against the Reds. His team has won his last 5 starts against Cinci. I am passong on it. Good luck today, Biff.

Chico started the Nats 2nd game of the season and Wainwright was the opening day starter for STL, but the game was rained out. No #5 guy in that matchup
