Hideo Nomo continues his improbable comeback today when he is scheduled to work three innings in relief of Gil Meche against the Giants in Scottsdale, Ariz. Jimmy Gobble, Joel Peralta, Brandon Duckworth and Chin-Hui Tsao are also expected to pitch.

Barry Zito gets the start for the Giants, who play host to Kansas City, on Wednesday at 12:05 p.m. PT.

Zito got shelled for 8 runs in 2/3 of an inning against the A's his last time out. He's never going to come CLOSE to being a Cy Young pitcher again.

I can try and see who SF has got going after Zito's inning of shame...

For the game today against the Royals...

Zito (L) ... Santos... Taschner (L)... Hennessey... Mateo... and Chulk pitching today for the Giants.

Based on that info I may have played the Royals....depending on the line. I would not have layed -120 or anything like that.

I am happy with the pass though. I guess its possiable that Nomo, Duckworth or Tsao get roughed up.

The Royals should score a fair amount though.
