Birds, I haven't been keeping as up to date as you on the ponies, but what horses do you see as the early favorites to make the field for the KD? War Pass, with his win in the BC Juvie, will be an obvious entry. What do you think of horses like Kodiak Kowboy who had a blazing start to their 2YO career and could possibly burn out by the time May rolls around?

My early pick for the Derby is El Gato Malo I played him about 3 weeks ago at 100-1 to win the derby and he is now down to 13-1. IMO War Pass will not be able to get the 1 1/4 with derby fractions. I am not a big fan of Kodiak Kowboy. Others I like are Slews Tiznow, Visionaire, Anak Nakal, and Country Star.
