Hey guys, I've been a long time reader ever since the move from the old site. I don't post very often because I don't want to feel like people should be influenced about what another person thinks of the game, but I feel as if I know all of you pretty well from just reading what you guys write. I had a problem this past weekend with my bookie, now I'm sure most of you were aware of the Baltimore - Washington game this past weekend that got called/canceled after only 33:22, hardly close to 60 minutes. They decided it was best to call/cancel the game in best interest of the players to prevent injury aside from the lightening risk overhead. Now, all the sportsbooks that I wager with online; Bodog, BetUs, Sportsbook, ect. state that a wager on a NFL game will only receive action if it goes a full 60 minutes or longer due to OT. The bookie I bet with, side action for fun because I wasn't close to a computer, called me today and said he wants his $110 by friday, I said what do I owe you that from? he stated that the game was marked a Final so it's like baseball after 5 innings its a solid score. IMO this is ludacris because NFL can not even be compared remotely to MLB due to the fact that how many NFL games have actually been called in the middle of them, weather effects NFL the least out of any of the sports. Just want to get some opinion if I'm right or wrong because I do have a problem handing over money this way, when I genuinely lose then I can accept that, not when I feel like I'm being swindled. Thanks guys!
