            Does anyone know the odds of double zero Roulette?
            Even
            Odd
            Low (1-18)
            High (19-36)
            Red
            Black

            If your going to wager one time your best change is the banker in Baccarat!!!!!!!!!

            The rules of play in Baccarat have been carefully constructed to produce a small, yet measurable advantage for the house for both player and banker bets, and a steep jump in advantage for tie bets. Complex calculations are used to determine that the banker will win 50.68% of all non-tie hands and the player 49.32%. Using 100 credits worth of bets against these percentages shows that you can expect to lose 50.68 and win 49.32. The difference between the two is 1.36, hence a 1.36 house edge against the "player" bet.

            So why then, you might ask, does the banker bet offer no real house advantage if it wins more than half of the time at 50.68%? Well, casinos are definitely wise to this. If they allowed the game to be played while giving up an edge to players, they would go bankrupt. Casinos have taken this odds discrepancy into account, and made adjustments to tilt the advantage back into their favor by way of a 5% commission on winning banker bets.

            The banker bet odds can be calculated as follows: let's say you are wagering 100 credits. Taking into account the 5% commission on winning banker bets, you will win 0.95 for every one credit wagered. Expecting to win 50.68% of the time, multiply 0.95 by 50.68 and you get 48.15. You still can expect to lose 49.32, and the difference is 1.17, resulting in a 1.17% house advantage.

            Tie bets happen approximately 9.55% of the time, meaning the true odds of a tie bet are 9.47 to 1. Dividing 9.55 into 100 gives us 10.47 and taking into account the fact that you will receive your original wager back, the proper odds are 9.47 to 1. So, winning a tie bet should have you winding up with 10.47 credits, but instead you wind up with 9. Dividing the difference, 1.47, into 10.47 gives the house a 14.4% advantage. You might be tempted by the 8 to 1 payout, but the odds on this bet are unfavorable compared to the banker and player bets. Logic dictates that despite the 5% commission attached to winning the banker bet, it still offers the most favorable odds in baccarat, and over time you can expect to lose less by utilizing this option.

              Thanks everyone....

              Kevin-No kids. Only 24. Take care of my parents and my little brother. Its been this way since I was 21. In a way my family is on the line, but like I said...its just extra money, nothing vital. I have enough smarts to walk away a loser, but I hope that wont be the case.

              BB is right. It probably wont be fun anymore.

              Maybe I am just sick of playing a couple hundred, and need bigger action. I just don't get the feeling I used to get. I barely watch the games anymore. It's really not what it used to be and the only way to get that feeling again is to put more money on it. Damn, do I have a problem or what...

              Anyways, ya..Im going to make a run at it. When, not sure. I am going to work on it and pick a good time to go. The problem is what then? I win, so what? It's like I just keep chasing the feeling.

                    Roulette

                    It has some of the worst odds in the casino. That game and Keno are consider to be sucker games. If you play perfect Blackjack you could actually be up at the end of the year being a casual player. Playing 24/7 you'll be down at the end of the year and it's almost a guarantee.
                    I have 3 rules:

                    1) Never get less than 12 hours sleep
                    2) Never play poker against a guy that has the same name as a city.
                    3) Never date chicks that have tattoos of daggers.

                      There are some knock-off games (games that the casino made up on their own) that have the worst odds in the casino, far worse than Roullette.

                          I was there a couple of weeks ago and they had this one on one hold em table. You put $5 down, and you get two cards. If you want to play it you have to put $25 down. If you don't play it they take your $5. There is rip off number 1. Catch this, if you play it and the dealers cards dont total over 13 then there is no action and you just get your $5 back. If you like your hand you can put $50 down and if the dealers cards dont total over 17, once again no action. It basically ends up them slowly picking away your money $5 at a time.

                            I don't know about ya guys, but every time I hit the Roulette table I'm always up.

                            This is how I bet when I play Roulette. I lay $20/$20 all night long on 2nd -12 and 3rd - 12. Payout is 2 to 1. The chances of me hitting this and getting paid is I guess 60:40 my way? My odds of hitting the numbers and getting paid out is higher, but my downside is that I have to risk more money.

                              :beerbang:

                              14 ways to lose $40= 40x14=-560
                              24 ways to win $20= 24x20=+480

                              560-480=$80 dollar profit per spin for the house. Of course this is virtual profit. Since it's not 50/50 it more like 59:41 in your favor over 100 spins you can expect to win 59 times and lose 41 times.

                              59x20=1180
                              41x40=1640

                              460 dollar lose over 100 hands or 46 dollars of actual profit per spin for the house. The house is 6 bucks ahead going into the bet. Roulette is the worst stay away from it. The other goofy games stay away from too.

                              I'm not getting into deviation but this system of betting looks real good at first because deviation of the dozens can be extremely large and go in your favor for a while but eventually it evens out and you lose and lose fast.
                              I have 3 rules:

                              1) Never get less than 12 hours sleep
