I've been hearing about a scam and have actually been called 2x now by somebody trying to play it on me.
The caller says their from tech support and asking if you're having problems with your computer. He said that they get messaged when something is wrong with my computer, so he was calling to help fix the issue.
He then tries to get you to go to a page and "click" on something that will fix your computer OR he says that I need to click the link to give him remote access so he can fix my computer from where he's at.
This is no doubt an attempt to gain access to one's hard drive and extract info, namely credit card numbers.
BEWARE. These ****faces try to sound like they're your isp, computer maker etc.
