    Going to Vegas nov 13-16

this will not be a big gambling trip, we are having a big group of friends get together there. But anyone got any tips or must see or go to places? favorite sports book, card room, Favorite blackjack tables, personal favorite buffet? I have only been 2 times so far and my travel was limited to the Flamingo. also keep in mind Im not on the high end of the money spectrum i would be gambling with not more then 4-500 for the trip.

If you like poker check out the new room in the Hard Rock. Redone last spring. Roomy, good traffic and variety of games and affordable buyins, good service. Great eye-candy at Hard Rock all around - staff and patrons.

For a smaller budget and cheap, cheap drinks with great party atmosphere go to O'Shea's next to the Flamingo. I played the midnight $50 freeze out NL Holdem tourney several nights last trip. About 50 people. Lot of fun there with low stakes gambling. Also like Bill's Gambling Hall for much of the same (used to be the Barbary Coast).

If you care to frequent a gentleman's club, you can't beat the Olympic Gardens or the Spearmint Rhino for the girls. Make sure and get a cabbie to get you free cover though or they will charge you bout $30/head. Cabbies get kickbacks for taking groups to these places and always have free cover coupons. The Palomino Club, however, is the ONLY Vegas strip bar that is all-nude AND has a liquor license but it is $25 cab ride away and not as classy. Pick your poison.

I like Smith and Wollensky for a great steak but it is a bit pricey. Not too jazzed about the buffets out there but the Flamingo has a good seafood one I've tried.

    Good luck and have fun!

Wynn and Bellagio have some outstanding buffets.

As for sportsbooks, the las vegas hilton is the best Ive ever seen. Free beers there too. No drink ticket bs like most other places.

I didnt like that Hilton had only 2 windows open to cash or make bets on the opening weekend of March Madness!! lines went all the way out to the slot machines on the edge of casino floor

          that soured me on them.
