I deep fryed my first turkey today and it was a smashing sucess. Not only did i manage to not set everyting on fire, but it was the tastiest bird Ive ever had. That thing was so juicy it damn near melted in your mouth. I dont think Ill ever cook one in the oven again. We had a 23 pound gobbler and it was done in 1hr twenty minutes. Cant beat that. I should have done the whole flavor injecting deal but I didnt want to push my luck. Anyone who hasnt tried this should really think about giving it a go. Absolutely delicious guys! :thumbs: Thanks giving is my favorite holiday of the year, my time to shine! Too bad I think I gained ten pounds :laughing:
