I look like Bob and Doug Mackenzie had a baby.

              But really,

Medium build, short hair (not balding...wow!), and goatee.
Engaged to be married this September to g/f of 5 years (a British gal).

Play Golf in the summer, and Hockey in the Winter.
              Played Highschool Hockey and basketball.

Enjoy a good Rye n Ginger, or Alexander Keiths Beer, and the odd cigarette.

Greatest sports dream is for the Leafs win the cup in my lifetime because this city would go absolutely nuts, however that is very unlikely.

Interesting idea here with this thread. Out of everyone I've met from here, I must say that not many of them were much like I expected....at least not appearance wise. Maybe later on i'll remember to add something about myself once the kid goes to bed.

Oh yea....Mike - I wouldn't have guessed you were 53. I would have thought more like mid 40's...but then again i'm 34 and everyone who doesn't know how old i am thinks i'm in my mid 20's. Staying young is good

                          Hi,

My name is Kevin, Im in my mid thirties and am currently in mid life crisis. LOL

Im married but don't live in the same house as my wife. If I let my hair grow out, it'd look like a toilet seat. I'm 6'3 or so when I stand up straight but prefer to be in the 4'0 position hunkered over a good slice of pizza or a really messy taco.

I went to school to be a cop but somehow ended up being your friendly neighborhood package delivery guy. I liked it so much I never pursued the law enforcement gig. Everybody is always happy to see you, there's a candy dish at every stop and I got paid to listen to sports talk radio all day at a job that flies by so fast you wouldn't even believe it unless you were living it. Plus it kept me in great shape. As Archie and Edith Bunker would sing... "Those woy the days!"

A number of back injuries put me on the shelf and the last one was so bad that I had to find something else to do. In a desperate attempt to create a job out of a hobby, I got into the website/forum business. Thanks to some hard work, luck and a bunch of volunteeers otherwise known as the moderators, it worked out to make enough to live off of.

I've had the great pleasure to meet almost all of the moderators with exception of Billy and Horfin and let me tell you, what a great bunch of people. Yomonte has a saying that "in every crowd there's always gotta be at least one a-hole and to both our surprise in this group there aint a one!

Im a hawaiian island addict, love country music and in my spare time I do some vigilante work.

I'm living on borrowed time so I'm happy to be alive. After rolling a monster truck 3x with no seatbelt on, getting hit head on at a red light by a guy going 60mph in a full sized truck and deciding not to step on a helicopter that crashed, I figure I'm in overtime and it feels good to still be in the game. Every day I wake up on this side of the grass is a blessing and I'm gonna live it like my last.

Other things I'd like to babble about include:

I look at other people's lives and don't understand how they function as non sports fans/bettors. Do people not realize that their missing out on some great euphoria? Can one really enjoy playing THE FLUTE as much as I do watching a game and sipping on a tall cool one? Thank you God for all you have blessed me with. I am proud to be a balding, getting fatter, arm chair quarterback who gets to feel like a kid waking up to like 17 Sunday christmas mornings per year. Make that like 34 if you include college foots and bowl season. Like how blessed are we man? I know people that tell me "Im bored" what should I do. Im like bored, wtf is that? ESPN, NFL network, espn news, online poker. Who has time to be bored lol.

Ok, I don't expect all to share my enthusiasm but I know you get it cause your here too and if you didn't, this post would have never have found you.

Long live The Shield (can't wait till april 3rd!), John Madden drawing all over the screen on thanksgiving day, fantasy sports, the site of your newborn baby for the first time, pepperoni pizza with jalepenos cooked on, good authentic mexican food, a cold beer on a warm day, never compromising what is right and 4 mega-ton bunshakers.

THESE ARE THE GOOD OLD DAYS!

Good thing today is pretty slow at work. So I guess I'll give a better description of myself.

As my previous post on the first page, it explains a little about myself. I am a gun enthusist. Going to the gun range is my getaway escape from my daily life. I call it the stress reliever. People think I'm crazy because I told them someone needs to invent a cologne smell of gun powder. I own a couple of handguns and starting to get into semi-auto rifles. I'm also license to carry a concealed handgun. If someone going try to rob/steal from me, they better think first before doing anything stupid because I am packing serious heat.

Basketball is the love of my life. I think everyone here knows that. I run a few open games at my local 24 hours fitness at least 2-3 times a week. I use to run in a basketball league with a few of my friends when I was living in Houston, but that was 2 years ago. I'm really not into college hoops like everyone else is. Something about college hoops doesn't interest me. I mean, I tried sitting down and watch a few games on ESPN, but I get aggrevated at the way these college players running their offense/defense. NBA is my home sweet home. I've been watching the NBA since I was 6 years old. Houston is my hometown, so I'm always rooting for them to win another championship (which is not going to happen anytime soon, lol). I miss my old 94-95 and 95-96 Rockets team. Clutch City is what they used to called us. Damn that was the good old days.

I've been living in Dallas for almost 2 years. Reason why I moved is because of the job. I am currently in the HP Remanufactured Toner/Ink Cartridge Business. My uncle started this business when I moved here. He asked for my help, so I did what was best and left Houston to help him out. Business is operating smoothly as planned.

I've been in the sports investment business since I was 16 years old and still going strong. I do occasional NL Holdem on the weekend with a few family members, or sometimes we just leave to play poker in Oklahoma casinos. Texas got some pretty ****ed up law. I mean you are allowed to carry a handgun or a rifle, but gambling is illegal? Texas government is a ******* mess.

I only got one thing to say about school. I ******* hate it. :beerbang:
