Just need to get these things off my chest because it has been getting worse. In no order, please feel free to add.
1) Watching it with someone who has no idea what they are talking about, but insist on "teaching" me about the game. I prefer the only sound heard be comming from the television or myself. I try to avoid this situation at all costs.
2) Long time no speak relative/friend calling in a critical point of the game (I could swear they are watching the same thing and decide to call that very minute). This gets me almost everytime.
3) My girlfriend getting mad at me about something and decides to cheer for the OPPOSING team. Ladies, go against your mans team. Nothing pisses him off more than that!!!
4) When someone asks a million rookie gambling questions DURING the game I have action on. This isn't a classroom damnit!!!
5) Finally taking the time to explain certain things (basic things like point spreads, money lines, etc.) to the person asking a billion questions and that person not even caring anymore. What the hell did you ask me for then?!?!!!
6) Someone telling me about someone they know, who knows someone, whos cousin also plays the books. Then mixing it in with their favorite team being the team that won it all last year, which will change depending on who wins it next.
7) Watching it with the "once in a blue moon" gambler who thinks that betting on any favorite is a "rip off".
8) This has nothing to do with sports but I hate people who eat at the poker table!!! Sorry everyone, but that's just disgusting. Stop greasing up the cards azzhole...
9) Before the game starts, the person insisting and non-stop begging that I call my bookie and double my bet becasue they "want in". Not granting their wish, winning my bet, and have them bitch at me like I made them lose money.
That's all I have for now. I will come up with #10 later. Wow, I feel much better now :glass:
Anyone else have any peeves?
